Hanin Najjar, class of '21, co-founded a company before completing her undergraduate degree in journalism and political science. Now, only a few months after graduation, she has been named a Portland Innovator under 25 by Portland Business Journal for her work with Parachute Media.

A lifelong fan of “the beautiful game,” Jackie Gutierrez parlayed her SOJC Journalism Master’s degree into a website that covers women’s soccer at the highest level.
Ali AAsum harnessed the hands-on experience gained through her SOJC degree to propel her toward a PR career. She now manages the Ninkasi Brewing brand.
