SOJC alum Jeanne Keevil was editor of the Daily Emerald in the 1940s, a Southern California newspaper reporter, and the first editor of the Irvine World News, according to her LA Times obituary.

Prior to moving to Eugene to join the doctoral program at the UO School of Journalism and Communication, Teddy Workneh had no knowledge of Oregon and hardly any about the United States, but he was passionate about the research opportunity.

Erika Bolstad ’20 came to the Multimedia Journalism Master’s program to learn how to make documentaries. Her first film, which solved a family mystery, started as her capstone project.
