Our communication and media studies graduate program allows you to pursue interdisciplinary studies and tailor your research to your interests. You’ll examine media and communication from a range of perspectives at one of the nation’s oldest accredited schools of journalism and communication within an Association of American Universities R1 research institution. And you’ll build a lasting network as you collaborate with and learn from a tight-knit cohort, many of whom research the impact of media on underrepresented communities and spur positive changes in the field.

His work explores immersive media, game journalism, and the way media makers frame play in their activities and professional lives.
