Unexcused absences will be penalized in the grading process. I consider this a professional class. If you are ill and cannot attend class, you should let me know ahead of class--by phone call or e-mail. Throuhout the term, we will be discussing and making decisions about the class Web site. The last three weeks are largely devoted to work on the Web site. In a class of this sort, absences make it difficult for everybody.
