Scholarships
The School of Journalism and Communication scholarship program is designed to recruit and support outstanding students who will become the next generation of leaders in journalism and communication. We are a leader among accredited journalism programs in the United States for the number and value of endowed scholarships available. Approximately 150 awards totaling more than $200,000 are given annually to deserving students, made possible by friends and alumni of the school.
Current and prospective undergraduate students who wish to apply for scholarships from the school may download the application, or pick one up in the Student Services Center in 101 Allen Hall. View list of scholarships provided by our alumni, friends and their families.
Only one application is needed to apply for all of the school's various scholarship, except where noted. The application deadline is May 1 for the academic year starting the following September.
