Established in 1992 by the Bolin and Binkerd families, in memory of Kirsten Bolin '89. Bolin was an account executive with a Portland public relations firm at the time of her death and was described by colleagues as having "professional integrity and a gentle spirit."

Qualifications
Awarded to a student majoring in public relations within the School of Journalism and Communication. First consideration is given to female applicants.
