Glenn Starlin Fellowship in Telecommunications


Established in honor of the late R. D. Glenn and Miriam Starlin. Starlin was a vice provost for academic affairs and professor emeritus for speech. He was the head of the Department of Speech, as well as the Director of Broadcasting. His service to the university included membership in the Museum of Art Council, the Museum of Natural History Advisory Board, and the Library Board of Directors. He was the recipient of the Jeanne Johnson Alumni Service Award, as well as the Distinguished Alumnus Award in recognition of his efforts.

Qualifications
Awarded to graduate students working towards a master's or doctoral degere with an interest in telecommunication issues and related research in the School of Journalism and communication in alternate years. Not awarded in 2000-2001.
