Karen Nagy is double majoring in magazine journalism and international studies, with a focus on Latin America. She is a development writer in the College of Arts and Sciences, has served as a Flux associate research editor, and is now an associate editor for Flux. Her work has also appeared in Oregon Quarterly and Skipping Stones. She is always scheming ways to fund her journeys around the globe, and has studied at the Athens Centre in Athens, Greece, and the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Facultad de Derecho in Rosario, Argentina. Nagy plans to teach English and do freelance work in Costa Rica after graduation.
