Aaron Rettig

Aaron Rettig was born and raised in Summit, Oregon and will graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in magazine journalism. Aaron has been kayaking for almost ten years and has been on expeditions to New Zealand, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, Norway, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Uganda, Zambia, South Africa, Lesotho, Madagascar, and throughout the United States. In the winter of 2007 Rettig shot, wrote, and produced the documentary "Lo Demas Es Loma," a film about the impact of U.S. foreign policy on everyday Colombians. Rettig has also worked with on several kayaking films with Young Guns Production and the Epicocity Project. Rettig is currently a board member of the private kayaking high school World Class Kayak Academy, from which he graduated in 2003. His responsibilities for Flux include multi-media work as well as his feature article about the African Revolutions Tour.
