Tim Wallace

Photographer

The first digital camera Tim Wallace owned was incredible for its time Ð and used 31/2-inch floppy disks. He grew up in John Day, Oregon, and spent his free time hiking in the nearby Strawberry Wilderness. In 2004 he was deployed to Iraq with the Oregon Army National Guard. Although his days were spent searching for roadside bombs, he managed to keep a camera close at hand. After his return, Wallace continued to study for a career in photojournalism at the University of Oregon and married his longtime sweetheart, Colleen Wallace, a graduate of the UO. He plans to work as a magazine photographer after graduation.
