Chris Brock is a designer and writer with published work in art and resort magazines as well as national energy trade publications. He is currently a graduate student in the professional master's program at the University of Oregon honing his magazine design and writing skills. Before coming to Oregon, Brock worked as a writer and graphic artist in a communications and marketing department of a large Idaho-based engineering firm. He hopes to break into the magazine industry as a designer or writerÑor both. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in English from Amherst College in Massachusetts in 2000.
