Zach Klassen's interest in journalism began in high school during his time at South Eugene High School's Axe newspaper as an arts and entertainment writer and managing editor in his hometown of Eugene. After graduation in 2003, he was accepted at the University of Oregon and currently studies magazine journalism as well as multimedia art with plans to graduate in the spring. Since last year he has been a contributing writer for the Eugene Weekly's music section and hopes to continue writing about music for a national publication after graduation.
