Carolyn Hamm, a magazine journalism major, helped polish up this year's Flux as an associate research editor. She has gained journalism experience through an editorial internship at Portland Monthly magazine, as a Pulse reporter for the Oregon Daily Emerald and as an associate editor for KD magazine. Big cities or green Oregon Ð Hamm loves it all. Last spring Hamm spent the term living and studying in Paris. She writes every day, and enjoys sharing her poetry and collaborating with her many talented friends. Next year Hamm will travel to Taiwan, Spain, and South Africa before joining the ranks in the big city. She has found her passions in journalism, literature, fashion, and music.
