Growing up in a family of overzealous Oregon Staters, Nicole Stormberg defied multiple generations of OSU alumni when she decided to pursue a degree in journalism at the University of Oregon. Despite incessant teasing from her relatives, she is proud to be graduating with a bachelor of arts in magazine journalism and a minor in business administration in June 2008. After interning at a culinary magazine in her hometown of Bend, Oregon, Stormberg gained an appreciation for good food and even better food writing, passions that she is considering pursuing after college. Her interests also include reading, traveling, and writing, which she hopes to parlay into a career in book publishing.
