On her last stretch at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication, Brittany McGrath will graduate in June 2008 and take on the question, "What's next?" A native of Oregon, she has loved her time at the UO and spent it being actively involved. In addition to three years on the Flux staff, she is the founder and coach of the UO Jam Squad dance team, a member of the Friar honor society, has been a leader within Allen Hall Public Relations, and a freelancer for multiple publications. McGrath spent last summer in New York City where she interned at Lucky magazine, spent five years at Portland's Community Newspapers and interned at VIA magazine in San Francisco. Beyond her journalism career, her hobbies include snowboarding, kayaking, dancing, fashion, and traveling while her vices include celebrity gossip magazines and PerezHilton.com. Brittany is engaged to be married in 2009, wants to keep working on the West Coast and will remain a faithful Duck fan forever.
