An overseas study program sponsored by the UO School of Journalism and Communication, OUS International Programs, the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and the Galápagos Academic Institute for the Arts & Sciences.

    This exciting four-week intensive summer program, led by Associate Professor Carol Ann Bassett, can accommodate up to 12 students each summer. Students receive 6 credits of advanced magazine writing credit. The course involves fieldwork throughout the islands and intensive writing workshops in Quito with the goal of publishing in major magazines.
