Editing Your Profile In The Directory

Specific instructions on how to edit your profile information in the Faculty & Staff directory.

  1. If you're not logged into the system, do so by clicking the login link in the upper right of the page.
  2. Go to the Faculty & Staff directory and find your entry. Click on More About YOUR NAME... to enter your full profile. (If you do not have an entry and you are a faculty, staff or graduate student, send email to support@jcomm.uoregon.edu to have an entry created.)
  3. First, choose "retract" from the "State" menu on the top right of the menu bar. Click the Edit tab at the top of your profile page. (If you do not have an edit tab, you may not have been given permission to edit your profile. Send an email to support@jcomm.uoregon.edu and ask us to fix the permissions for your profile. We hope to make this more automatic in the future.)
  4. Click through each page using the Next button at the bottom, making changes as you go.
  5. When done, click the Save button.
  6. Don't forget to change the State back to Published when finished, or nobody will be able to see it.
