Julie is a graduate student of strategic communication at the Turnbull Center and a independent communications professional in Portland. Julie has extensive experience within the fields of education, nonprofits, publications and apparel.

Julie supports the Friends of Outdoor School, the Kids on the Block Awareness Program and the Sacred Fire Community. Julie is also a member of Young Professionals of Portland, Mortarboard Alumni and acting chair of JGSA-Portland.

Julie spends the rest of her time playing soccer, biking, doing yoga and now, training for a half-marathon!?
