In addition to two years as the Associate Development Director for Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences, Mason brings more than ten years experience in customer service, sales, and marketing to the SOJC.  As Director of Development, Mason says her goals are to increase support for faculty, students, programs, and facilities of the SOJC; she is also “eager to see the Portland Turnbull Center become a regional center of collaboration for journalism and communication professionals.”

“I am thoroughly energized by meeting new people and hearing about their trajectory from UO to their current path,” she says.  “It feels great to welcome alumni home and show how far we have come and share our hopes and goals for the future.”
