The School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon seeks a writer, thinker and innovator with a record of excellence in long form reporting and news writing for a tenure-track endowed professor position beginning in the 2010-2011 academic year.
The successful candidate will have an advanced degree or a professional record of extraordinary distinction, a demonstrated potential for university teaching, an active program of scholarship and/or creative activity, and a commitment to the future of journalism. He or she will join a faculty that believes in the power of good journalism and is actively engaged in exploring new models for journalism.
